This challenge is based on using sequins and or beads.
For this card it just seemed natural to use sequins inside the shaker because let's face it.....eeeek it is just FUN.....really I wanna say funner but sooooo many teachers would not be Impressed with that misuse of the English language!
I loved coloring Witchy Emma from C.C. Designs. I dug out some copics because I have not used them in at least 3 weeks and felt like I left them alone. Well after some swishing and marking all over scrap paper I decided on a bunch of colors to use on this sweetie. The copics I used on this project are:
Skin: Hair: Clothes: Sign:
E000 E19 C5 YR 04
E00 YR 18 C7 YR 09
E04 E99 C9 YR 65
E11 E33 BV01
R20 BV13
BV08
Headstones:
E11
E13
E35
After coloring Witchy Emma, I moved along (at a snails pace) to the inside of the card.....another eeeeeekkkkkkkk- Using dies from C.C. Designs, especially new ones always makes my day soooo much brighter. I got to cut the spooky tree and bats using my Big Shot and those OH SO ADORABLE dies from the cutest shop around.....giggle. I used various Washi tapes from various stores; however, my fav came from C.C. Designs last year during the fall collection. All I remember is it might have possibly came from the Doodlebug collection....but I really am not 100 percent sure....maybe just 85 percent sure. Alas, I digress. I used C.C Designs Copic Quality 110 lb paper to create the sign "Happy Halloween", which I printed from my computer. I love using Maya Arts wrinkle ribbon because it is just so easy to use so I added a bow with tails that needed to be glue dotted to the corners. Last but not least, I used the prima flowers I have been hording for years. I thing I really need to dig those flowers out more often. I love getting some old product used up...frees up loads of space for new .....yipee. I must add a photo of the haul I got today.
I was so stinking lucky to get all these wonderful treasures. I must admit, I think I have a problem.....I LOVE CC DESIGNS.....really though, I really get like a school aged gal getting her first kiss when new rubber arrives. If you haven't tried any really you need to because it is soooooo worth exercising your card. After all this explaining I think I am ready to learn something new......how in the world does one add the linky things to the bottom of the posts...a new quest for the next post. I hope you enjoy another installment of How this squeaky mouse rolls.
I hope to see you at the challenge for C.C. Designs because fun begins when you have friends that understand your nuttiness (F.U.N.). So come on over and join the fun....you know you wanna:)
